Vidula Mehrotra is a Partner at Vardharma Law and an Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India. With over nine years at the Bar, she has developed a broad litigation practice spanning civil and commercial disputes, constitutional and public law, criminal defence, service and labour matters, arbitration and insolvency-related proceedings.
Her practice is centred on the Supreme Court of India, where she independently manages significant matters before the Court, including Special Leave Petitions, Writ proceedings, contempt petitions and criminal appeals. She regularly advises and represents individuals, corporates and public authorities in matters involving complex questions of law, high-stakes disputes and challenges to governmental or regulatory action.
Practice
Vidula's practice is defined by its range, but grounded in a clear strength: navigating complex litigation from strategy through to final hearing. She works across civil and commercial disputes, criminal proceedings, constitutional and writ matters, service and labour disputes, arbitration and insolvency-related litigation.
As an Advocate-on-Record, she brings particular depth to matters before the Supreme Court, managing proceedings independently and coordinating litigation strategy at every stage. Her experience includes matters involving government authorities and investigating agencies, as well as disputes concerning corporate, employment, insolvency, matrimonial and regulatory issues.
She also plays a central role in the firm's litigation practice, working closely with clients and teams on case strategy, pleadings, procedural management and representation across forums.
Career
Vidula began her legal career in Mumbai following her graduation from University of Mumbai, in 2017. She moved to New Delhi in 2018, enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, and joined Vardharma Law during its early years, growing alongside the firm and becoming an integral part of its litigation practice.
Over the years, she has developed a practice that spans some of the firm's most significant civil, constitutional, criminal, family and commercial matters, representing individuals, corporates and public authorities across courts and specialised forums. As Partner – Litigation, she now plays a key role in leading the firm's disputes practice and managing complex litigation across jurisdictions.
